Rivendell by the Bay is a newly forming intentional community home in the truest sense of the phrase.
We are gathering 15–20 residents under one roof in central San Francisco to build a warm, creative household that feels like a sanctuary in the city.
Our ideal housemate is someone who thrives in an environment of emotional intimacy, has strong communication skills, and feels called to give and receive vulnerability, empathy, and support to their housemates. We value therapy, healing, growth, and the individual & collective wisdom that comes from having faced the challenges of life over the years and decades. We believe that everything tastes sweeter and shines brighter when shared with others.

Care
We practice Unconditional Positive Regard and invest time and emotional energy into caring for each other and our shared home. Conflict is natural; we prepare for it, address it promptly, and prioritize reconnection.
